15 September 2017 - Operation " PLAGES PROPRES " 2017: M'Diq Beach
For the sixteenth year in a row, ONDA sponsored operation " PLAGES PROPRES " in the Commune of M'Diq, conducted by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, under the effective Presidency of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla HASNAA, and in association with the Directorate-General of Local Authorities – which report to the Ministry of the Interior – as well as the Prefecture of M'Diq. This operation took place from June 15th to September 15th, 2017.
ONDA's involvement as a responsible citizen corporate aims to protect the seaside heritage and to encourage promotionalaction while respecting its wealth and its sustainable development.
ONDA's program of action consisted, during the summer season, of two parts:
"Clean Beaches": daily activities focused on cleaning, maintenance and embellishment of the cornice.
"Lively Beach" through:
• Awareness and education of children about the issues of coastal protection;
• Scientific and technical workshops under the theme "Art for the Environment";
• Providing children with a green library;
• ...
These various neighborhood activities led by ONDA on M'Diq beach, allow summer visitors to spend pleasant days on that beautiful Mediterranean beach, in clean, hygenic conditions.
